Wooleen Station

This property provides a unique eco-tourism experience in Murchison with a working cattle station and heritage-listed wetlands. Wooleen Station offers a self-catering guesthouse as well as rooms in the homestead. Wooleen Station is a listed property with the National Trust. It includes a woolshed, blacksmith shop and homestead. Guests can make use of the swimming pool or take part in Wooleen Station's guided tours, which includes a sunset tour of the wetlands of Wooleen Lake. Homestead rooms are comfortably furnished. Guests staying at the homestead can make use of the vast cellar of Western Australian wine, borrow a book from the library or relax in the guest lounge. Wooleen Station's private guesthouse has 2 bedrooms, a living area with open fire place and a fully equipped kitchen, with utensils. All linen and towels are provided. There is also a large veranda with outdoor seating surrounded by a private garden. Wooleen Station is 1.5 hours by air from Perth. There is a landing strip at the property. It is a 3-hour drive from Geraldton and 4-hour drive from Dongara.
